It all started when my mom passed away. My dad, sister, nephew and I each kept some of my moms ashes in a glass pendant. It was unfortunately a pendant that I knew I would never wear. 3 years went by. I moved to the United States with my fur baby - Savannah, married the love of my life and was trying to figure out what I wanted to do in terms of my career. In the meantime, the glass pendant was still in a box and it was constantly on my mind. I knew the 4 year anniversary of my moms passing was coming up really fast and I wanted to buy a special gift for my family members. I knew I wanted a piece of jewellery that somehow incorporated a small amount of my moms ashes. So I started searching the net and I found a pendant that I liked but it was one of those where you add the ashes by yourself. I kept searching and I finally stumbled across a pendant that I really liked. The only catch was that it was on a DIY website and wasn't for sale. I have always been a creative person and have always had a passion for making things so I knew I had to try make it myself. I made it, it looked amazing...I loved it. I finally had the gift I wanted to give to my family and the best part was that they were made by me. They absolutely

loved them. Yay! I knew then and there that this was

what I wanted to do. I was finally able to have my

mom with me wherever I went and it brought me so

much comfort knowing this. The photo you see here

My only wish is to do the same for others that are grieving the loss of a loved one or a pet and to somehow in a small way help you keep them close.
